Absolutely the worst experience. My upgrade room was not ready, staff didn't even know about it! The shower taps were color-coded incorrectly, so confusing. And please, if I wanted to feel ignored like a regular guest, I wouldn't have bothered. I almost gave a good review, but just couldn't. The food was bland and uninspired.

Friendly efficient staff and the location was comfortable and strategic. Truly enjoyed our twin room with a view of table mountain, the balcony, for example. The service was very good with parking outside.

The place was neat and we loved family room. The location was very central, magnificent close to waterfront & shopping. Moreover, it was short walk to the restaurant as well as stores.

The Capetonian offered a great base for exploring the city. My room on the 11th floor had fine views of Table Mountain. Spacious with a comfy bed, it provided a nice retreat after a long day. I appreciated the selection of toiletries and the clean linens. Breakfast featured tasty halal options, a hit. I faced some inconveniences. The WiFi connection in my room was poor. The air conditioning was a bit tricky to adjust since I didn't have a remote. The breakfast spread could use more variety. Only a few options were available. Despite these issues, the overall vibe was pleasant, thanks to the helpful staff.

Delicious breakfast selection of excellent things. Very quiet area, very central location near to the Water Front, and the Cape Town International Convention Centre.
Beds were very small.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were huge, clean and fresh. And the view from our room on Table Mountain was amazing. I will most definitely stay here again. Great value for money!

Its location was really good...
Well the quality of the rooms were ok, I expected the room to be bigger according to the pictures but it was really small !! So I think I have paid for more than the room deserved... The room were also cold and you could see the wind blowing the curtains although the doors where closed! The food we've ordered to the room was cold also. The cleaning wasn't that good! One of the cleaners did an excellent job when the one that normally does it was away... but unfortunately that was only once!!

great location but room for improvement
The hotel is in a great location, close to everything and within walking distance from major attractions. The friendly staff always greeted me with a smile. My Superior Twin Room offered a fine city view that really added to my experience.
There were minor issues with the room that could be addressed for a more comfortable stay.

Excellent location within walking distance to V&A Waterfront. Also, there is a free shuttle to/from the Clock Tower every 15 minutes. We stayed in a 2 room family suite, which was very large and comfortable. The kids had plenty of room to run around.
The pigeon pooh all over the windows (our room was on the corner where the birds like to sleep)...not exactly the hotel's fault but gross to see when looking out the window.
